Thanksgiving already?

In a normal year, I would be enthralled in and enthused by the upcoming Thanksgiving festivities. This year is different. I just feel like I'm not ready for it. Did Thanksgiving sneak up on us this year? Could it be the election season, the new job, or the economic meltdown? Maybe.
